Emerald & Opal Collection
The centerpiece of this necklace features a slide pendant with two magnificent gems, one a carved opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia, 13.03 carat, and a natural emerald in matrix from Colombia. The two gems are surrounded by sculptured faces carved in relief, carved in wax and cast in 18KT yellow/green gold, designed to create a feeling of echoes, of people wanting to talk to us, of our spiritual connections to other people.
Detachable 5-strand braided natural Colombian Emeralds faceted beads, 18KT yellow gold beads and clasps.
The necklace won the 1st prize Award, Jewelry Division, in the People’s Choice Competition at the “Gem Galleria Gem Art show” at the Historic Manning House in Tucson, Arizona, in February 2003.
